AlsoYoga - Weaving Yoga Into Your Daily Life
The day before my mother passed away, she held my hand and said, "Do yoga."
It was 2008, and I had been practising for two years by then. She could see the change in me — the way only a mother can. Something inside me had settled. I was calmer, steadier, more myself.
She was at the end of her life, and she knew it. With everything stripped back to what really mattered, that's what she said to me. Not because she had ever done yoga herself, but because she could see what it was giving me. She wanted me to keep going. To live well. To find happiness after she was gone.
I never stopped.
I have practised through grief, change, and uncertainty. Through the big transitions and the quiet, ordinary days. For over twenty years, through every version of my life, yoga has been the one thing that stays.
Now I teach. And whatever stage you are at, whatever your life looks like right now, however many times you have told yourself you don't have time, you can also do this. Even if it's thirty minutes. Even if it's just today.
AlsoYoga.
I'm glad you're here.
